Summer’s here and that means it’s time to play outside in your favorite bathing suit. That’s why my pick for today’s review is the Step 2 Splash N Scoop Bay! It’s all the fun of making a sand castle without the long drive to the beach. Any of the accessories can be used for different types of play, and adding your own sand castle building supplies can double the fun! The table is just the right height and size that even families that don’t have much room to spare can find a place for this must-have summer toy. The rounded sides are a definite relief to some of the square, sharper angled ones. Overall the design is flawless, and the colors are very nice. Something eye catching will keep the little one’s attention after all!

There is one con with this, though, that might be a deal breaker for some parents. Because kids will be kids, they will mix up the sand and water. As long as you have a hose this shouldn’t be a problem; the table is light enough even with water and sand in it to dump it out for a good cleaning. Hey, maybe even turn that into a bit of fun as well and get your kids involved? I’m always a fan of that! Just don’t play with it inside, obviously, it can make a big mess in the surrounding area as well.

What People are Saying

Fun times!5stars

After seeing water tables for awhile, and noticing that my 12 month old daughter will not stop playing with the dogs water bowl, I thought it was time to purchase a water table. She LOVES it. We bought it right before her first birthday party and it was a huge hit at the party. I wanted a water table that was big enough and didn’t have too many accessories for more imaginative play, and this is perfect.

Hours of fun!4stars

If you asked my son- he would give this 5 stars because he has a LOT of fun with it. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the water tower comes apart easily and is difficult to get back together. This does not come with an umbrella which was a negative for us but, there is a pre-made hole in the middle so you can purchase your own so it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.

I am a single working mom with two beautiful daughters and am just getting started in this whole online thing. I am a bicycle enthusiast and I love to ride every chance I get. My daughters aren't quite as excited, but we're still working on it. Since my girls are older now and turned out great, I guess that makes me something of an expert on educational toys because I sure bought and played with enough of them!
